Josie is a junior Doctor at Norwich Hospital.

At the end of 2008 Josie was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour and given less than 2 years to live.

Josie is currently quite well, and on May 15th she and her husband Roger (who has links with the Pindar (print) family from Scarborough) are setting sail around Britain, to raise brain tumour awareness. They will berth in Scarborough next week and DEPART ON SATURDAY 22ND MAY AT 2-30PM.

I am trying/hoping to get as many as you lovely people as possible down to the harbour to SHOW OUR SUPPORT AND GIVE THEM A BIG SEND OFF. I have put Josie and Roger in touch with The Yacht Club, and Scarborough Sea Cadets - and it looks as though they may be able to escort their boat away from Scarborough, so it should be quite a sight to see.

PLEASE - if you've got an hour to spare, come along and give your support.

Thank you.

Heather

PS - I've been tracking who visits this site from where, just to see if word is getting out. I'm delighted that we have visitors from as far afield as Calgary and Massachussets. Brilliant!
KEEP SPREADING THE WORD!   :)
