How to Run for Ellie's Fund Brain Tumour Trust
Step 1: Join our facebook group and let us know you are going to run for us. If you aren't on facebook let us know by twitter @elliesfundinfo or email us.
Step 2: Find a race (we can help with this and there are lots of suggestions on our facebook page) and enter the race. We aren't a big enough charity to get our own places so please enter yourself. If you want to take the entry fee out of your sponsorship money then please feel free to do that.
Step 3: Set up a fundraising page at the CharityGiving website. if you need any help with this let us know. To set your page up click here or on the image below.
Step 4: If you want a paper sponsor form you can download one to print here
Step 5: Start your training plan!
Step 6: Run your race and have a great time!
Getting Ready to Run!
Make sure you are fit to start any training programme. If you haven't exercised for some time have a check-up with your Doctor before starting anything.
Some training plans from Runner's World are set out below.
A great way of preparing for a running event is to join your local running club. Scarborough Athletic Club website is available from the link below.
